Högskolan Dalarna was established in 1977. Today some 18,000 students pursue studies at the university’s two campuses in Borlänge and Falun. Around 60% of our students study through web-based learning.

In addition to our 40 programs of study and more than 200 single subject courses in Education, Culture, Science and Technical Studies, Languages, Computer Science and IT, Sport and Health, Media and Aesthetics, Social Sciences and Economics, Health Care and Medicine and Tourism, we offer modern facilities with state-of-the-art equipment. Student accommodation is guaranteed and registered students have 24 h access to computer rooms and university facilities. The university is situated in mid-Sweden, with good communications and all sport facilities nearby.
