We recently returned from a marketing tour in Zambia marketing the new Scholarship program.
One of the most exciting events for me, being the Alumni manager at SI, was the reception as the ambassador’s residence where we met former international students to Sweden, and was graced by Zambias current Finance MinisterAlexande Chickwanda who studied at Lund University in the late 1960´s. Most still spoke Swedish!

Join the team at the Swedish Pavilion in Shanghai
The Swedish Pavilion at Expo 2010 will require approximately 60 staff to manage the exhibition, program activities and visitors to the VIP section. We are looking for young, energetic people who are available to act as guides, technicians and logistics personnel in Shanghai from April to October 2010.
Because 95 percent of visitors are expected to be Chinese, a good ability in Mandarin is essential. Other qualities required include the ability to work under pressure, to be a good team player and having a service-minded attitude.
Those who are selected will work in a truly international environment, learn about different cultures and have the opportunity to be part of the World Expo experience. There will be a comprehensive training program.
Shanghai will be the centre of world attention during this period with an expected 70 million visitors from over 200 countries. Apply below to join our team in Shanghai.

Sweden.se uses music to promote Sweden. In cooperation with Swedish online music service Spotify, Sweden.se has got 15,000 invites to distribute in a campaign that has just kicked off in France. If you go to Sweden.se/music from a French IP address you’ll meet the virtual music nerd Torsten.
It’s this charming guy who distributes the invites. The only thing the visitor has to do to get a Spotify invite from Torsten is to send three Swedish songs to three friends. If the campaign becomes a success, it might move on to other, still not “spotified” countries.
Go to: www.Sweden.se/music
Hope you enjoy and let us know what you think!
