Geographically, Mid Sweden University is located in the middle of Sweden, right at the heart of Northern Europe. It is a young university, but its roots go back more than 150 years. Mid Sweden University has three campuses, Härnösand, Sundsvall and Östersund, with approximately 17 000 students.

We are proud to offer 12 international master programmes and 4 bachelor programmes in English. A strong connection with the latest research makes it possible to continuously use the newest and hottest theories in our education. We offer a wide range of course programmes within the social sciences, behavioural sciences, media, nursing, teachers’ education, information technology, natural sciences, technology, and languages as well as other subjects within the humanities.

One of the characteristics of our university is a combination of the intimacy of a small college, with the educational variety and resources of a large university. On top of that, the choice to study in Mid Sweden also gives you the opportunity to enjoy some of the best outdoor activities Europe has to offer.
