Dr. Néstor G Carri, MSc, M.D., Ph.D. is a Professor at Faculty of Medicine, UNiversity of La Plata and a Scientific Researcher of the National Council of Research (CONICET) in Argentina. He works at IMBICE in La Plata. His research interests have focused on the investigation of embryology, developing retinal responses to trophic actions and neurotrophic factors in retinal assays. Currently, his research studies involve embryonic retinal and brain stem cells, and signaling mechanisms of cell survival and death in glial cells.
