African Cinderella is set to start touring Ghana in 2010, with workshops due to take place in schools in connection with performances. The project will highlight, among other things, women’s and children’s rights. The play will be adapted to local audiences. What are you hoping to achieve with African Cinderella? “We’re aiming for a quality family show that will help people discuss important issues concerning children’s and women’s rights around Ghana, and hopefully in other West African countries as well.
