The University of Borås is a modern university in south-west Sweden. The total number of students is nearly 15,000 (6,400 full-time students). During the past decade, the number of international students has increased steadily and contributed to making the University of Borås a dynamic and multicultural place of learning.

Our motto is “Science for the Professions” because we strongly believe in giving our students knowledge and skills which they will be able to use in their working life. The city of Borås has a population of 100,000 and is located sixty kilometres east of Gothenburg, Sweden’s second largest city.
