The Consulate General of Sweden, Shanghai, invites fresh graduates as well as old alumni members to an alumni event with CSR focus
December 17 (Friday) 1pm-8.30pm
The event includes a study tour to a H&M factory and dinner/networking at Howard
Johnson Hotel, Suzhou
PROGRAM
1pm Gathering at Central Plaza lobby (381 Huaihai Zhong Lu, Shanghai). Registration.
1.15pm Departure by bus to Suzhou
3-5pm Visit to H&M factories in Suzhou. Study tour with CSR focus. Q&A session
5pm Departure to Howard Johnson Hotel, SIP, Suzhou
5.30-7.00pm Dinner, networking and discussion
7.15pm Bus back to Shanghai Central Plaza

Swedish business has a reputation for being fair, honest and transparent. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a core aspect of doing business
in Sweden. Environment, gender equality, human rights and anti-corruption are central issues for many companies here.
CSR is incorporated into everything from the decision-making process to making businesses take responsibility for the way their actions affect the
environment, consumers, employees, communities and other stakeholders.
Sweden was the first country to require sustainability reports from state-owned companies — just one example of how seriously Swedish society
takes CSR. We hope that through this study visit, you can gain knowledge and inspiration –and bring that back to your own, professional
career.
We also want to know who you are and where you’ve studied in Sweden –and that’s why the second part of this event will be focused on
networking and discussions. You’ll also get a chance to meet staff from the Consulate General of Sweden to find out who we are and what
we do –and what we in the future can do together!

SRA Member Reunion & Welcome Meeting for Returned Students from Sweden
In order to welcome fresh graduate members, Sweden Returned Alumni (SRA) organizes a welcome meeting and member reunion event. Several guest speakers from the Embassy of Sweden and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce will share their experiences on how to make career plans, and techniques of job interviewing. Participatin in the meeting is free of charge. Everyone who are interested in SRA are warmly welcomed to come and join!
From the Program:
Seminar - Possibilities to work in Sweden (Speakers from Swedish Embassy and the Swedish Institute)
Seminar - How to make career plans and the techniques of a job interviewing. (Speakers from Swedish Chamber of Commerce)
Working experience sharing (Returned students speaking)
There will also be a chance for questions and answers, as well as open discussion.
